Set up this computer to open AdPlayr fullscreen whenever you sign in to Windows.

Keep the player online until Player status says it is saved for offline playback. Saved media can play for up to 72 hours without internet, or until access ends if sooner. Offline storage supports up to 2 GB per screen and needs enough free disk space. Use a regular browser profile and keep the device clock correct.
- Download and run setup on the computer connected to your display.
- Choose Install and start player. Setup will help you get Chrome if needed.
- On another device, open Screens and enter the pairing code shown on the display.
- Assign a playlist and save your changes. The player remembers this screen next time.
The player shows a 15-second countdown before opening. Press Ctrl + Alt + Q or click Cancel startup to cancel that launch.
Already installed? Download and run setup again to get improved recovery, automatic audio playback and sleep prevention. Your screen pairing is kept.
To stop: press Ctrl + Alt + Q, or select Stop AdPlayr in the Windows Start menu.
While running, the player keeps Windows and the display awake. The tray menu’s Restart player option reloads the player when you choose, so updates do not force a scheduled interruption.
This early release is unsigned, so Windows may show an unknown-publisher warning. Test it on one display before a wider rollout. Your computer must be powered on and signed in; setup does not change those settings.

For Raspberry Pi 5, one screen, and Raspberry Pi OS Desktop (64-bit) using labwc and Chromium. Raspberry Pi OS Lite and other signage systems are not supported by this setup.

- Download setup on the Pi. Open a terminal in the download folder and run
python3 AdPlayr-Pi-Setup.pyas your normal user, without sudo. - In Raspberry Pi settings, enable desktop auto login and disable screen blanking. Disable any previous signage app’s automatic startup before testing AdPlayr.
- Open AdPlayr Player from the applications menu. On another device, open Screens, enter the pairing code and assign a playlist.
- Test images and videos, then reboot to check automatic playback. Start with 1080p H.264 MP4 videos and check sound on the connected display.
Pairing is kept in a separate browser profile. Initial setup needs internet. Wait until Player status confirms that media is saved before trying offline playback. The same 2 GB and up-to-72-hour offline limits apply.
To stop: press Alt + F4. To remove automatic startup, run python3 ~/.local/share/adplayr-pi/player.py uninstall. Pairing and cached media are kept.
This pilot opens at desktop login. It does not yet monitor or restart a crashed or frozen browser. Video, audio, offline restarts and extended playback still need testing on a physical Pi. Re-run setup to update it.
