Terms of service

AdPlayr is operated by Aron Ásberg Björnsson, an individual operating from Hafnarbraut 12A, Kópavogur, Iceland. Contact support@adplayr.com.

These terms govern your use of AdPlayr. If you use AdPlayr for a company, you must be authorized to act for that company. You must be at least 18 years old to open an account or purchase a subscription.

The service

AdPlayr provides digital signage software. Upload images and videos, arrange playlists, schedule content and manage connected screens. You supply compatible screens, player devices and an internet connection. Hardware and on-site installation are not included.

Your account and content

Keep your login secure and give company access only to authorized people. You must have the rights and permissions needed to upload and display your content. Do not upload unlawful content or malware, infringe others’ rights, or attempt unauthorized access.

You retain ownership of your content. You authorize AdPlayr to store, process and deliver it as needed to provide the service. Company owners manage access for their team and are responsible for their company settings.

Demo access

The default demo allows one screen and 1 GB of shared company storage, with AdPlayr branding. It is separate from any payment-card trial and does not create a paid subscription. Additional complimentary access may have an expiry date shown in your account. Paid access and storage allowances are shown in plans and pricing and before checkout.

Subscriptions and payment

Prices, screen allowances, billing intervals, taxes and any trial are shown before checkout. See plans and pricing. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled. If your offer includes a free trial, cancel before the first paid charge to pay nothing. Increasing the screen allowance can end a trial; any charge is shown before confirmation.

Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for purchases through Paddle. Its buyer terms apply to those transactions. AdPlayr’s refund policy explains our first-payment refund offer.

Cancellation and deletion

Manage your subscription through Company settings, the Paddle customer portal linked in your receipt, or support. Canceling stops future renewal; access normally continues until the end of the paid or trial period. Screens above your available allowance may pause when access is reduced.

Canceling a subscription does not delete your account or company media. Deleting a login does not automatically delete shared company content or cancel billing. Contact support to arrange account or company deletion and review any active subscriptions.

Playback and availability

Keep original copies of your files. Offline playback requires successfully saved content, available device storage and valid access. It is not indefinite and is not guaranteed on every device. Test your chosen player before relying on unattended playback.

We may carry out maintenance and address service or security faults. Contact support if the service does not work as described. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Suspension and ending access

We may restrict access to address unlawful use, a security threat, misuse of the service, or unpaid subscription charges. Where reasonably possible, we will explain the reason and allow you to resolve the issue; urgent security or legal matters may require immediate action. Contact support if you believe access was restricted in error. This does not remove any refund or other rights you have under applicable law.

Applicable law

These service terms are governed by Icelandic law. This does not deprive consumers of mandatory protections or rights to bring proceedings in their country of residence where applicable. Paddle’s buyer terms govern your purchase transaction with Paddle.
